Review: Mario Party DS

It comes as no surprise that Mario Party DS represents one of the best family fun games of the year for the Nintendo DS. Often copied, but seldom equaled, Nintendo has a history of success with mini-game collections. There are many aspects that set this title above the others. First, it can be played by up to four DS with just one game cart – and you’ll find it the most fun if you play it against other players. There are so many ways to play, too! Story, party, minigame, puzzle and multiplayer modes give lots of options on how to approach the title. There are strategy, action, and puzzle elements, excellent graphics, and true creativity in the presentation. This is a must-have title for the DS.
