Leapfrog's latest console gets kids off the couch

LeapTV: A console with valuable content.

If you're frustrated that your kids are spending too much time with mind-numbing video games, take a look at Leapfrog's LeapTV.  Long associated with electronic entertainment that is both fun and educational. (Why do those traits so often seem at odds when it comes to children's media?)

Borrowing from the Wii and Microsoft's Kinect, LeapTV uses a camera to let your kids interact with the content with their whole bodies.  However, unlike other platforms, these games focus on developing skills, excercise for the brain as well as reflexes.

If you've got elementary school kids, this is the new platform of choice.
